Aldersgate UMC

Who We Are

Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Santa Fe, TX 

was founded on April 3, 1960 when the Alta Loma 

Methodist Church and the Arcadia Methodist Church 

officially merged after realizing their oneness in Christ.  

The name "Aldersgate" was selected in remembrance 

of the heartwarming experience of John Wesley on 

Aldersgate Street in London on May 24, 1738.

Our Philosophy

Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out.  At Aldersgate UMC, we believe in sharing the joy of the gospel daily and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.
