United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is the humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church. UMCOR comes alongside those who suffer from natural or human-caused disasters – famine, hurricane, war, flood, fire or other events—to alleviate suffering and serve as a source of help and hope for the vulnerable. Aldersgate UMC is collecting supplies for Hygiene Kits to donate to UMCOR during Lent. Drop of supplies in the church lobby. For more information on UMCOR and Hygiene Kits, visit https://umcmission.org/umcor/

This is one of a number of such boxes around Santa Fe. For larger donations, we recommend H.I.S. Ministries.
If the box needs attention, please let the church office know.
Backpack Buddy Program is a non-profit charity providing
ready-to-eat items to SantaFe ISD elementary students
with limited or no access to food on weekends. The Backpack Buddy program currently serves over 160 elementary students each week. Backpack Buddy meets every Wednesday at 10am in Susanna Hall.
Once a month a team from Aldersgate prepares food for people struggling with housing and takes cooked meals to Galveston Central Church for distribution.
Several times per year, we open our doors to KAIROS prison ministry so that they have a "home base" for this area. They visit local prisons and talk to inmates about Jesus Christ hoping to change their hearts and their minds. This program is run by volunteers. Aldersgate is proud to offer assistance to this worthwhile ministry.
