Here are some ways you can serve in Missions at Aldersgate:
The Blessing Box is a community exchange for food and grocery items people need that is open to all. You are welcome to place items in the box or drop them in the church foyer for the Mission Team to distribute. Please only donate items that are in-date and sealed. Suggested items: Peanut Butter (1 lb-2 oz or larger), Tuna Fish (5 oz or 12 oz), Canned Green Beans or Corn (14-16 oz), and Ramen noodles. If the box needs attention, please let the church office know.
Montgomery, Polk, and Walker counties have recently been affected by flooding, as well as other parts of Texas. The Texas Annual Conference has set up links for monetary donations, a wish list for the families that have lost everything, and information if interested in signing up for cleaning and gutting. You can help by supporting the Amazon Wish List, Mucking and Gutting homes, and donating to the Disaster Fund.
